O'Byrne was the intermission guest, and he was very exhuberant. I don't think he was whistled during the entire interview.

The Q announcers are being pretty complimentary. "It's no mistake they are the 7th ranked team." Nice to see them not being negative.

For us, at least. No offense to the Fighting Deerticks, but this is what we need to do to the likes of Quinnipiac. But let's save a few goals for Princeton.

Mark McCutcheon, his 2nd shg of the year, and his 5th goal of the year after having zero through his first two season. Not to spoil anything, but this guy is my odds-on favorite for the TBRW "Career Improvement" Award. He's come out of tall-thin-no-body nowhere to become this year's Iggulden. Incredible.

Between McCutcheon and Carefoot, I really like having one SH threat on each PK unit.

Yep-per. Hard to overstate how much this particular squad, especially the "middies" (So-Jr), have improved over the course of the season, and in surprising ways. Tightening up the system and taking pressure off the G while also opening up the offense... hey now, I thought only the diamond-encrusted WCHA teams could do that!jtwcornell

This is starting to rival the 95-96 team, as a pleasant surprise. Maybe McKee's soft start was a blessing in disguise, since the rest of the team has responded so well.
Of course, "you're never as good as you look when you win," and P.U. played a great game against 'Gate tonight. A 4-point road weekend would go a long way towards re-establishing Cornell as the premier ECAC program.
