Starting with the 1/7 RIT game CUPD will be instituting a new traffic pattern for those people attempting to get out of the Crescent parking lot in a more timely manner.
We will be creating two lanes east bound on Campus Rd. starting at the intersection of the Crescent parking lot and Campus Rd. and continuing to the intersection of Judd Falls Rd and Campus Rd.
For those of you affected, I would appreciate feedback as to how this plan effectively addresses the issue of traffic congestion exiting the Crescent parking lot after the game.
We will re-evaluate this traffic pattern and make adjustments as necessary.
Thank You

How will this affect traffic leaving the parking lot between Bartels and Friedman?

Any comments/concerns from those affected by the change?

I was parked in front of the wrestling center and made use of the two-lane traffic. Even though I was right in the thick of the rush, I got out of there very quickly. Two thumbs up (except for the dense person who still tried to go the other way).

I park further back from the rink to the east and found it took longer getting out for me than normal but still wasn't too bad - I walk a long ways to car and before could then get out quicker now there is more traffic coming out that way and takes longer for me to get going maybe 3 or 4 minutes lost - :- )

I had alittle trouble getting into the right lane to turn out to 366... I was parked infront of the wrestling center, but traffic did seem to be flowing much nicer
