For those in the Ithaca area, this summer's alumni game will be this Friday night, the 12th, at 7:30 in Lynah. This year's reunion banquet "honors" the teams from 1975 through 1984, so there should be good representation from that era.

Can someone who was there post a few details for the rest of us? Specifically, who came back to play? Were a lot of people from '75 to '84 there as hoped?

According to Mike, there were several former player weddings last Saturday which cut into attendance at the alumni game and reunion.
Hockey alumni playing in the game were: Marc Deschamps, Parris Duffus (who played forward/defense), David Francis, Bruce Frauley, Len Jankowski, Brian McMeekin, Bill Perras (1971), Tom Prins, Krzysztof Wieckowski, Pete Chuchmach, Tony Eisenhut, John Ettinger, Chris Grenier, Duanne Moeser, Joe Nieuwendyk, Neil Paterson, Mike Schafer, Peter Shier, and Wayne Stokes.
Several non-alum types filled out the rosters (e.g., Brekke and Russell). Highlights were seeing the Nieuwendyk/Moeser connection together again and watching Mike torment the three 2002 grads who were on the opposing team.
Mike was very bullish on next year's outlook and very high on the offensive strength of the incoming class.

No wedding report?
(I must be getting old -- I'm actually interested in wedding reports... )

I have to get to one of these games. I'd love to see Coach play again. Who was in goal (especially if Duffus wasn't)?

Jason Arnold ('90) and Tom Fox ('71) were the two goalies. I know Tom did not play in college and don't recall Jason. Tom plays in some kind of senior league and was probably MVP.
