Still classical music (choral) on WHRB from Harvard. According to the schedule they should switch to hockey pre-game in a couple of minutes (6:50pm). No problems connecting, although it did take a minute or two to load.

Load Gametracker. Hear stupid Mellon bank commercial +10db vs the broadcast
Gametracker fails.
Load Gametracker again. Here Mellon bank commercial again.
... You'd think with the criminal overuse of cookies, maybe CSTV could place one indicating it has already played the bleeping commercial today. Or have a year-long cookie noting we've paid for All-Access, so we don't need to be blasted by the commercial. (Actually, since CSTV access is "self-renewing," the cookie should be in perpetuity.)
Four or five well placed complaints to Mellon Bank should do the trick.

Did O'Byrne just turn the puck over to Harvard in front of McKee (no goal, luckily)?

Moulson is 5-3-8 in 5 games now, so one goal and 1.6 points per game

Cornell announcer, as first period ends, says the "second period has been a trouble spot for Cornell" with the opponents outscoring Cornell 5-1.
Statistics are dangerous in the wrong hands, and that certainly includes many broadcasters.
If it is 5-1, Wouldn't that be 4 for MSU and a goal apiece total for Cornell and opponents in the rest of the first couple games.

Maybe just coincidence. But as James Bond once said, Once is happenstance, twice is circumstance, and three times is enemy action.

Is anyone else listening to the harvard audio?
What class at Harvard works on square roots, isn't that something we did when we were 13?

Three goals in the first period, close game, Cornell just ahead, Harvard drawing more penalties than Cornell. Gawd, I wish I was there.

Yeah... 4 goals in one game but tied 1-1 in the other three. And the sample size is too small to mean much of anything regardless.

[/q]If the tide swings in Cornell's favor [that should be innocuous enough to not threaten the WGs], it would be great to tune to WHRB to hear the anguish in their voices. Though nothing could be like hearing WBRN last Saturday. Who ever though Providence was whine country?
