Hey ELynah,
Tonight on WVBR's sports talk show Sports Roundup, we will be recapping Cornell's 4-point road weekend and previewing next weekend's big matchups. Tune in at 7pm on either 93.5FM or over the web at wvbr.com. If you recall, last weekend we had Matt Moulson and Topher Scott on the show to discuss Michigan State - Matt left me an email earlier this week saying this:
Hey Jack,
Thanks for the note. We both had a great time on the air. Thanks to
everyone at the station for being good hosts and all the fans for listening. Again thanks a lot and we will be back on after we win the National Championship.
-Matt
For those Women's volleyball fans out there, Elizabeth Bishop will be joining us on the air tonight as well!
Official details about the WVBR Dream Job and Podcast to come soon!

Hey Jack,
While you're organizing the formal podcast program, any chance you can post the Sports Roundups as podcasts the next day? In addition to building momentum and excitement for the Dream Job, it might also give your marketing people some idea of the potential audience size.
Thanks,
Ken

...and let your ad people charge a little more for spots in the show.

As opposed to your free ads (aka spam) on ELynah.

I thought spam was unsolicited, bulk, junk e-mail, not posts on a forum that you actively access, and choose which threads to read and access.
While plugging VBR may amount to a free ad, letting everyone know that there is a free place to listen to interviews with Big Red players, listen to segments about Cornell hockey, and perhaps even call in to the show, is a pretty relevant post.
And assure you, not Jack or anyone else who works (or has worked in the past) to bring you Sports Roundup makes a penny off it. We're just happy for people to listen to the show. So tune in Sunday's at 7pm!

Oh come on, there's no problem with posting a thread like this here, as long as Age doesn't mind. Yeah, it's an unsolicited ad, but it's on topic and I'll bet a lot of people with no idea the show existed would tune in to hear the hockey segment. I would if it were archived on the net (hint, hint).

And if they are willing to host and produce more stuff for us.... Not a bad deal...

That's a good point, but I think it needs more cowbell!
