Lenny is gonna be on the opening night roster for the Coyotes. Of course CuJo will get the start, and I suspect Lenny will be sent down once Boucher is healthy, but nonetheless it's great for him.

I'm hearing that Phoenix is interested in one of Buffalo's excess goalies (Noronen or Biron) so maybe Boucher is out longer than originally anticipated.
Biron/Noronen

Good to see that they are not going to rush Lenny... But if they were to get Biron, that might push back Dave's timetable considering Biron is a young goaltender.
In other news, Yann Danis will be Theodore's backup in MTL, and he had a wonderful exhibition season. I've always thought that Danis was an incredible tender.

Habs management thought enough of Danis to move Garon. Danis is the just latest of great NCAA goaltenders not to be drafted but to eventually land in the NHL. Is McKee the next?

Speaking of Montreal and former ECAC players, Lenny's co-player of the year in '03, Chris Higgins made the Habs opening day roster.

He is in the Phoenix organization. I think he'll be playing with Utah this season.

Pretty sure that's not the case, cause, uh, there is no Utah

Utah is now in the ECHL (still called the Grizzlies too)...but in all likelyhood Grumet-Morris will start the season with San Antonio and stick around until Lenny gets sent down (at which point he'll go to Utah).
