Does anyone have recommendations for hotels within walking distance of Yale's rink? (C'mon, Al, I'm counting on you.)

It's on the long side but you could walk from the Marriot Courtard (the old Holiday Inn) across from Popeyes of P'n'C fame to the Whale.

Work is no longer an excuse to live near an ECACHL team... :(

Come on, John...that's not a long walk. ;-) Done it a zillion times. Didn't realize it's now a Courtyard, though.

The only other option I can think of would be the Omni Park Plaza (if it's still called that), a bit further away just south of the Green.

Thanks, guys. So, these are the only 2 that are reasonably close enough to the Whale? :-D

I just wanted to revive this thread to say that if anyone is looking for a great Saturday lunch of quick Sunday dinner, I highly recommend Mamoun's on Howe St. If you like middle eastern food, I've never found anything close to it - and really the one in New Haven specifically.

It can be quick (take out), its cheap, its great.

Its not really walkable from Ingalls, at least I don't think so, but its a very short drive. I had to share, I thought of New Haven and i started getting hungry. See ya at the game.

Where in Ingalls in typical visitors? We have our tickets already, but I'm just curious if we'll be with the crowd or not :-)
