ithaca to providence... [www.mapquest.com]
depends on who you talk to but i used to go 79e to 206e to 88e to albany=90e to 87s to 90e to 146s to 95s into providence. you can instead go up 81 to the thruway and on over or 81 south to 88 in binghamton and on up. i recommend 206 as i have always found that to be faster if you are going to albany and east.
ithaca to cambridge is similar except you take 90/mass turnpike into boston.

Mike, I think 90 minutes may be a pretty good estimate, but a lot will depend on traffic. Heading south from Boston can get really nasty on a Friday afternoon (having made the trip often to visit the in-laws south of Providence). The earlier you can get on the road, the better. We've opted to get rolling around 4:00 from west of Boston and try to meet friends in Providence for an early dinner. Should take us about an hour. But if you leave in the midst of rush hour, assuming you'll get there there shortly before the game, you could be hosed. Go early. And a good thing this weather system came today, eh?
Catch you at the game.
Catch you at the game.

albany to providence is not that bad, we were able to go quite fast when we made the trip a few years back. i think we did about 75 but watch those MA troopers.
providence to cambridge is a quick ride, i would think it would be quick on a saturday or friday night after the game...hope u guys have fun and drive safe. if anyone is gonna be at the onion game and wants to pick me up hahvahd and brown hockey pucks i am trying to get pucks from every area I go to/have gone to....only problem is that i decided to do this after my last road trip. lol. i think it had something to do with head on puck action at a home game. have fun guys!
