I'm reading one of my Xmas gifts, Adam W's History of Cornell Hockey. One fact I didn't know -- in the 3rd period of the 1970 NCAA final versus Clarkson, Dan Lobdoa scored three consecutive goals, including a double-shorthanded one!
That's completely unreal. A natural hat trick, including a 3x5 goal, in the 3rd period, of the NCAA finals, to cap the perfect season. Incredible.
Does anyone know where I could read more about this game? Is there anyone reading this thread who was there and can share their memories?

He was an incredible player and as has been mentioned before, he was a converted forward. We totally dominated that game, but could have lost if it was not for him. That remends me, I'll try and get out my cartoon, from a north country paper, showing Clarkson goalie Bruce Bullock stopping 48 shots while Brian Cropper was ice fishing at the other end, and had 19 saves. I'll try and post it sometime. I have the news reports from then and this weekend I may be able to get a few choice quotes.
If you'ld like I could xerox them and mail them to you. Let me know.

McCutcheon (Brian) was absolutely awesome in that game as well; fed Lodboa twice!! It's been a long time!!
