[OT] Web page issue at Ivysports.com

This is kinda strange, so before I go complaining to the people at www.ivyleaguesports.com, I want to see if anyone else is having the same problem as me.

When I load a page from their website, it loads normally, however in the status bar I see a whole bunch of stuff being downloaded from some other website. Several are:

www.nwf.org
www.marchofdimes.com
national.unitedway.com
cpaws.org

...and many more.

I experienced another strange effect today when I was looking over the Heps track results. Some kind of music starting playing. I had no other programs open. Typically some flash type of advertisement would be playing, but I didn't see any. When I closed my browser, it stopped instantly.

I've gone through the paranoia type activities. I scanned my computer with both Pest Patrol and Ad Adware as well as run a complete virus scan with Norton. They found a bunch of cookies, but little else. I did make sure that I had the latest definitions prior to scanning.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or is this some new website/browser hijacking thing or virus? help

Thanks

EDIT: I checked with my roommate and he has the same behavior when loading the page, so it's likely not my computer.

I experienced something somewhat similar: the status bar showed icye.org and unicef, and unicef and data.org (apparently an organization concerned with AIDS and national debt in Africa) tried to save cookies on my computer. My best guess is that the Ivy League is participating in some sort of charity endorsing thingie, but it's just a guess. At any rate, it's not just you.
