if he isn't wearing it how will we recognize him / know he's at the game? does anyone have a photo of him by any chance??? it'd be great to know if he shows up again this year. afterall he has left us with the macho man dance ( if you can call that a dance). still can't decide whether we should thank him (its damn funny to watch everyone around you making a fool out of themselves) or tar and feather him for that one.

Hah... I KNEW you were going to say that. In fact, before I edited it, my message read: "I vote tar and feather. I can say with a pretty high degree of confidence that Beeeej will agree with me."

He'll be "that dude" in section O making an ass out of himself doing some that resembles what our uminformed students do when they play that damn song. If he's there. . .you'll know it.)
***Uninformed = they have absolutely no idea why or for what reason or they are pumping their arms up and down and looking like utter fools ***

no. St. Lawrence. he got a nice "That guy sucks" cheer from the student secions last year for his insane cheering motions ( all alone i might add).

I thought he was funny more than anything, actually, and it's fun to see someone (a la Supermom) be vocal and take on an entire rink full of people by him/herself. Of course, the student sections found him to be a royal pain in the neck, but that might be due to the fact that SLU beat Cornell like a rented mule that night. (note - I have no idea what the score was, I just felt like using the rented mule cliche. Hey, at least it wasn't the redheaded stepchild version . . .)
Clarkson fans, as individuals, have never stood out to me. Maybe that's just because the band always comes and keeps things interesting - strength in numbers and all that.

Well gee...maybe I should do my best to "stand out" .
On the other hand, yes, there is the band...and there's no competing with the "battle of the bands"!
Besides, the three folks I''ll be with probably would not approve of any antics on my part!

Are you sure it was only 3-2? I thought our home game against SLU last year was when Burt got pulled after the first, and they ended up with 5 or 6.

Hey, Cornell *did* get beaten like a rented mule! 6-3, SLU, and I think Graham's right about Burt getting yanked after 1. The game probably wasn't quite as close as the score, although I do remember Cornell staging something of a comeback. Heck, last season 3 goals was a veritable offensive explosion.
The 3-2 game was at Appleton.

Can we please save the "rented mule" references for our opponents?!?
Thanks

What about red-headed stepchild?
If it makes you feel any better, UAH got beaten like a red-headed stepchild at the start of the season. What makes me feel bad is that the Chargers got swept by Air Force last weekend, which definitely hurts Cornell's chances of adding those two wins to the TUC comparison.

One of my friends wanted me to ask this...to settle a bet with someone, so if anyone knows the answer, chime in. What color was the sweater that sweater guy was wearing?

the sweater was greenish with a red vneck so we were calling him aquafresh. vneck was NOT in attendance last year. i remember because i made a sign "Sweaterman Likes Underage boys" but did not have an opportunity to use it. he was there my freshman year (00-01) which started the macho man dance (many people credit travis in sec-a for it) and the next year (01-02) he came back with 3 of his old, vneck buddies.
