This isn't quite the appropriate thread for this, but I don't think it warrants its own. Hockey's Future ranked Riley third in the Oilers' prospect depth chart.

Twenty-year-old Riley Nash continues his development at Cornell University. Nash followed up his ECAC freshman of the year season by earning a spot on the ECAC first team and honorable mention for the all-Ivy League team as a sophomore. Nash put up 35 points in 36 games with the Big Red in 2008-09, but needs to fill out his 6’1” frame as he tips the scales at just 179 pounds.

For what it's worth, Moulson is #18 on the tsn player rankings... [www.tsn.ca]

Matt Moulson had a nice primary powerplay assist late in the game, but the Isles fall to the Habs 3-2 in OT.

Moulson has 8 points in his first 9 games of the season. If he keeps up the good scoring pace he has going, he'll earn a callup to the NHL soon.

Isn't he already in the NHL?

Did anybody else think of The Onion's clip from a while back, about Ovechkin getting called up to pro sports?

Douglas Murray picked up an assist on the Sharks only regulation goal last night.

And I'm not an Isles fan.

Folks may know that NHL goal highlights are available at NHL.com, but if not, here's the link to that games' highlights:

I'm guessing that you know this, but for all the others out there, I wonder if Mr. Iles be the first person to make the spelling guide before setting foot on campus?

Bitz plays the Devils (with Yann Danis in net tonight). Consequently, the Bruins play-by-play guy said that Yann would now like his named Yan (rhymes with can) Danny. shifty

Sometimes for the sake of humor, spelling must be sacrificed.innocent

The scary thing is that I actually double-checked the spelling and still didn't notice.

the story
It was Romano’s first AHL goal. While there are surely many more to come, Romano is young and still has aspects of his game he has to develop. He cited his defense and time management as areas he needs to improve.

On tonight's first intermission of HNIC, Don Cherry had lots of props for Matt Moulson. Cherry knew where Moulson was drafted, but not too surprisingly, didn't mention where he played college hockey.
