Now that Harvard has a video scoreboard, how long before they hire the people responsible for
this atrocity to make one for them? I mean, good GOD...

The polar bear destroying Anchorage was a bit insensitive. I guess no one remembers the earthquake of 1964. Whoever thought up this video must have been high on something or maybe took their cues from an 8-year old. Eight year olds, dude.

But what could you possibly have disliked about that video?!

The whole journey to the arena and smashing through the roof is a cliche in the genre of "intro videos."
I think as Cornell fans, we are generally very traditionalist about our hockey. That means keeping the lights, bells, and whistles to a minimum. It also means not caving in to the trend of professional-styled college athletics, and holding on to the principles of amateurism as best we can. So when something like this video comes up it's just another reminder of the how differently college hockey is conceived in some circles than in ours.

If that doesn't get you fired up for hockey you better check your pulse.
It's got just about everything you could want, outer space, a polar bear riding a rocket propelled hockey stick, and the complete destruction of Anchorage (not to mention the moon).
Just missing Phil Collins and the laser show.

What would you expect from a state that could elect Sarah Palin?

Having youtube blocked at work only means that this will be a letdown, compared to what's happening in my imagination.

I think there's a good chance that even your wildest imagination will fall short of what you'll see in the video.

They need to do just a bit of editing. Colorize that bear so that he's brown, and change the sign from "<-- Fairbanks/Anchorage -->" to "<-- Boston/Montreal -->". But it's a great start!

Wow. And I had just about convinced myself that I had hallucinated Thundar and his wacky friends all those many Saturdays.

Twisted f'ing genius.
I don't know why, but the parts that make me laugh the hardest are: 1) when the Avenging Bear of Death takes some time out on his journey through the solar system to waste the Jupiter probe, and 2) the "A" twisting back and forth at the end in front of the epic wall of natural gas flame.
I feel a claymation mullet erupting on my nape like a bad transformation scene in a 80s horror movie.

Oat
I would now like to make a video of a terrier landing in a toilet.
A conversation with someone about the video after reading this post:
S (2:18): yeah... I'd love to make the Alaska trip sometime and then beg that it gets played
T (2:18): with the last post being: I would now like to made a video of a terrier landing in a toilet.
S (2:19): haha but would the terrier destroy the moon on the way to the toilet?
T (2:19): maybe just crack it in half
S (2:20): satellites? how about galaxies - any shot against them?
T (2:20): the terrier could bark and shock waves from the sound could destroy those things
T (2:20): then it could land in the toilets at msg
T (2:20): breaking down the roof first
S (2:20): thats extra grimy
T (2:20): maybe making it down to an amtrak train's toilet
S(2:21): and blowing up the train?
T (2:21): of course
