Thank you !! (though it will take my eyes a bit of time to adjust from seeing the ads in the face-off circles).

According to the latest news from Sweden link the Abbott bros are gonna be free agents very soon and will probably go somewhere else in the Elitserien.

And all over the jerseys... Worth it for the lack of TV timeouts, though.

It could be the slow motion, but the goalies and defense in this league look pretty bad. Like that goal at 0:36. It's like the defensemen just back off and the goalie taps the (slow mo) shot right in front of the other side of an empty net to be buried.

I have gotten used to the ad-filled jerseys, but not the face-off dots. Gee, I wonder if European futbol will go that route; ads in the penalty area and in the midfield circle. Might be a way to raise more $$ in this economy.

I went to an Aussie Rules Footie match in Melbourne a few years back. There were "golden arches" logos on the ball!

Are those actual ads on the ice? (Looks like it to me.) You could certainly superimpose ads on the TV image ala the down indicators and first down line in NFL telecasts.Rita

I was somewhat taken aback when I turned on the Rangers a couple nights ago and saw Subway logos on the end glass, above the boards. I guess the playoff push brought in some extra advertising demand and they needed a new place to supply it!
