Peter Feola tries to steal Scott Hansen's whistle after it becomes clear Hansen doesn't know what the hell he's doing

Feola prepares to give Hansen a boost so that he and Cornell Captain Steve Bâby can speak eye-to-eye.

And Feola says, "Hey, Hansen, you're my b*tch. He may be bigger but his name is Bâby!"

Linesman Peter Feola eagerly searches for the Subway banner, as Cornell senior co-captain Steve Bâby politely explains that the contest was cancelled years ago.

Steve Bâby shakes his head disapprovingly after catching Hansen and Feola in a game of referee grabass.

Feola gets caught hitting from behind, Hansen is faulted for holding the stick, and victimized Bâby wants to cry like a baby (without the autoprogramed circumflex!)

Linesman Peter Feola says to referee Scott Hansen, "Stop blowing the game!" While Cornell co-captain Stephen Bâby calmly says, "Look Hansen, we all know your wife's a whore but could you leave that shit off the ice."

Ben -
You know there are children reading this forum and that your language is inappropriate. Even worse, your caption is not even remotely humorous. Go to your room!

Bâby: [q] So why is it exactly that you hate our team so much?[/q]

Hansen: [q] I don't hate you guys. I think you are a great team, but I think B.U. has more talent and deserve to win. Plus, Brad Zancanaro is cute.[/q]

Bâby: [q] What!!![/q]

Feola:[q] Coach P. promised we could go midget tossing after the game. [/q]

Bâby: [q] What!!![/q]

Hansen: [q] Yeah Feola. That’s the spot. Last night he was like the Energizer Midget. He just keeps going, and going, and going.[/q]

Bâby: [q] I'll toss the midget into the boards if you want.[/q]

You're just aggravated because my retort was funnier than your caption. Reminds me of when you were in elementary school and used to wet your bed to get attention. You've stopped doing that now, right?

Mom

Ben's Momma,
You have a great deal audacity. I hope you realize how big of a pussy you are for hiding in anonymity. You are a disgrace to your family. I hope you and your alternate personalities come to grip with each other. You know you are a really sad person. Grow up. :-(

Is there really going to be another discussion about "anonymity" on the board and what it means?

I don't know who Ben's Momma is, and I don't know who CULater '89 is. Neither include their email address or real name. The former is (occassionally) funny and the latter is an opinionated and valued contributor to the forum (we rarely agree, but so what?). I like having both of them around, and don't care if I can't contact them "off the record".

What do you think is lost from the anonymity? You can't send your flames directly? That argues in favor of retaining anonymity, not against it.

And, for the record, in both of "her" posts in this thread, Ben's Momma was funny - and right.

If you were Ben's Momma, you'd want to be anonymous, too. You and Ben should take a lesson from Big Red Apple. Such a polite young man.

Bâby: What's going on Scott (Hansen)? You're calling the game with your eyes closed.

Hansen: I'm PO'd. I told the members of my fan club I was going to be on Hockeycam only to find out Andy pulled the plug.:`(

Feola: Could we call a bench minor on the AD for unsportsmanlike conduct?nut

Seeing as how I started reading this website after the first 3 caption contests began (I didn't know what I was missing!), I was just wondering if anyone still had the original pictures, because I can't see them on my computer. I'd love to see what they were!

(and the caption contests I'm referring to are #1, #2 and the one without a number)

Thanks!!!
