Colgate 1 SCSU 1, but the USCHO URLs for both teams are wrong, so I haven't found a 'cast.

You ever notice we're about the only two people to regular post out of town scores, Rita? That can't be good... idea

Oh, I didn't say other people weren't interested. It was more of a "if you're expending this degree of effort, you may want to check your life" thing. ;-)

Colgate 1 St. Cloud 1, end of 2. Raiders outshooting SCSU 22-17; the Huskies fans are extremely underwhelmed by the whole thing... whistle

It takes St. Cloud 16 seconds to score in the third period, 2-1.

Ouch!!
Actually, this is a big improvement for me. I am at home on Friday and Saturday nights and *not* at work/lab. Okay, I still may need help, but ....

Ohio State ties it up late to send the game into OT. Game ends in a 2-2 draw.

The OSU ties it up with the goalie pulled late in the third.

The final is The OSU 2 - Miami 2 but I really think it is a win of sorts for the Buckeyes. They have been sucking big time this year. To tie the #4 team is a plus for them going into break.

For CSTV viewers who missed this, you may want to catch the replay of the third period and OT. It was entertaining. Casey Jones is seen laying out the plays for The OSU during the time out they called late in the third.

Looks like those 3 goals in 9 minutes came at the end of the 2nd period, not the 3rd...

Right you are. I was fooled by too quick a glance at the USCHO box. Still a nice comeback for BSU.

I do feel slightly better on seeing this on the front page of USCHO now:
USCHO
Two was the magic number Saturday, as Blaine Jarvis' second goal of the game gave Bemidji State a stunning 6-5 win and a series sweep of Minnesota-Duluth. The Beavers trailed by three halfway through the third period before igniting their comeback. ...

INCH, too:
INCH
... Duluth, Minn. (Saturday): Blaine Jarvis's overtime goal capped a furious Bemidji State rally as the Beavers beat Minnesota Duluth, 6-5, extending their unbeaten streak to seven games (5-0-2) in the process. BSU trailed 5-2 in the third period, but scored three times over the last 8:45 of regulation – the last was a Shane Holman goal with 29 seconds left in the period – to send the game into OT.

I just want to point out that with this loss RPI moved to 1-2-3 in the league and 4-5-6 overall.

How weird is that?

I credit sah67 for dubbing them "RPTie" this weekend.

They had 6 ties all of last season. The NCAA record for ties in a season is by Mankato State in 2002-03 when they went 20-11-10.

Didn't think this warrants a new thread.
Two notable scores:

Union beat UML 4-3. Union is at UConn Sunday.

Michigan Tech (with coach Jamie Russell of course) beat NoDak 3-1 in REA to match their win total from last year. Rematch tomorrow.

Second time this year that the Michigan Tech goalie (Nolan) has missed out on his first career shutout thanks to an opponent's EAG! (Btw, front page story on CHN today is about Russell and Michigan Tech).

Harvard would have been eliminated from the (unimportant) Ivy League title with a loss.

Results for teams that will be in Florida:
Western Michigan 5 at Wayne State 7
Mercyhurst 1 at Maine 1 ot

It's important to some of us. pop

.500 Brown (2-2-0)
.500 Princeton (1-1-1)

And with the Dartmouth loss, we maintain a 1 point lead over Dartmouth in the ECACHL, with 2 games in-hand. Whatever point(s) they didn't get on Saturday may prove useful to us later on.

I actually meant it as a subtle jab at the crowd that always pops up to say they don't care as soon as the Ivy title is mentioned.

Is this a good time to say I'll care about the Ivy title once all 8 Ivy schools play D1 hockey? :-D

The title counted in football even when Columbia didn't field a team.
