And we are worried that the rink staff has to clean up Swedish Fish?Trotsky
FWIW, I think you're crazy to have any complaint this early about Milo or Gallagher or Romano. They're all over the ice, they bust a nut every minute,...

Could not disagree more on officiating. No problem with it at all. A typical John Murphy Special -- letter of the law, no quarter. As long as it's consistent, fine by me.
Of all the games i've seen on video, I think the officiating as a whole has been very good this year. (I didn't see the brown and yale games on video where the most complaining about officiating has occured). They are calling nitpicky stuff but they are in general consistent and fair.

I was just happy to see people show up early. Maybe that was the late start, but it makes all the difference in the world to have everybody in place and screaming when Harvard takes the ice, rather than filing in.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised by the number of people there for warmups. I think a lot of people assumed the game was at 7, and others decided to go early because they had no idea at what point the fish would be thrown and wanted to be present for that. Some people near me had never made it to a game before the lineups and had no idea what to do with newspapers.

I agree. The officiating at Yale was good, but at Brown...

I'm not terribly concerned about how we do against Dartmouth tonight (other than the usual win every game to lock up an at large NCAA bid)
How about getting a good seed in the ECAC playoffs?

And even more importantly, what about the implications that a loss to Dartmouth would have on the fight for the all important Ivy title?!?jtwcornell91schoaff
